A BILL

INTITULED

An Ordinance to authorize the appropriation of a supplementary sum of thirty million one hundred and thirty-five thousand nine hundred and sixty-four dollars to defray the charges of the financial year ending 31st March, 1949.

WHEREAS it has become necessary to make further provision for the public service of the Colony for the financial year ending 31st March, 1949, in addition to the charge upon the revenue of the Colony for the service of the said financial year already provided for.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof :

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Supplementary Short title. Appropriation for 1948-49 Ordinance, 1950.

2. A sum of thirty million one hundred and thirty-five Appropria- thousand nine hundred and sixty-four dollars is hereby charged tion. upon the revenue and other funds of the Colony for the service of the financial year ending 31st March, 1949, the sum so charged being expended as hereinafter specified; that is to say-
